
Me Esther Villeneuve
Lawyer
Esther’s practice focuses on litigation and civil law, both at the individual and collective levels. She supports abuse and sexual assault victims and takes a particular interest in class actions, human rights and estate litigation. She is also called to contribute to a wide variety of civil cases.
Her humane and thoughtful approach has led her to promote the integration of the helping relationship into the practice of law. Striving to help make the judicial system easier to understand and more accessible, she puts a particular focus on listening and clarity. In university, Esther has developed strong skills in legal research and drafting. As a research assistant for University of Sherbrooke’s professors, she took part in several projects pertaining to governance law, municipal law, health law and medical law. Throughout these experiences, she honed her critical thinking skills and acquired a deepened interest for all aspects of civil law.
Esther holds an undergraduate law degree from the University of Sherbrooke. She joined Lapointe Légal in 2023 as an intern, and was sworn into the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar) in 2024.
